Quality Policy Statement

The Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) Company is in the Exhibitions and Events Industry. Our vision is to be Africa’s first choice in offering innovative opportunities for social and business interactions. We strive to promote trade and investment in the country by offering trade platforms such as exhibitions and conferences, stand building, venue hire and business consultancy services.

ZITF Company management will achieve this through::

• Ensuring that all requirements outlined in ISO 9001: 2015 are adhered to.
• Having greater accountability and involvement in the organisation’s quality management system.
• Promoting the aspect of Risk-based thinking.

We strive to ensure that all customer, legal, organisational and any applicable requirements are met. We commit to exceeding our customer expectations.
We commit to continual improvement of the quality management system, and all our products and service offerings. Management shall review this quality policy during management review meetings for suitability.

History of  ZITF

The ZITF Company was founded in 1986, as a non- profit, limited liability private company, the ZITF Company’s vision is to be the world’s first choice in offering innovative opportunities for social and business interaction.  The vision aligns with the company’s thrust to constantly reinvent itself with novel event management techniques to generate maximum benefit for our clients.

While traditionally formed to organise and host the multi-sectoral exhibition, Zimbabwe International Trade Fair, our product offering has evolved over the years to reflect the new demands of the exhibition industry.

ZITF Company has been a member of UFI (The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry) since 1982.  The company is also an affiliate Member of IAEM – a USA-based exhibition association affiliated to UFI. Regionally, the company is a member of EXSA (The Exhibition Association of Southern Africa) and AAXO (Association of African Exhibition Organisers), both of which have very few members outside South Africa.

In addition, ZITF Company exhibitions are endorsed by key stakeholders such as, the Government of Zimbabwe, Bulawayo Agricultural Society, City of Bulawayo, Confederation of Zimbabwe Industries, Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce, Zimbabwe Investment Authority, Zimtrade, Zimbabwe Tourism Authority, Chamber of Mines of Zimbabwe and Zimbabwe School of Mines.
