A’Sambeni means “Let’s Travel!” in the Zulu/Ndebele language. It is an invitation to set off on a leisurely mission together – an offer of sunshine, good companionship, and adventure.
The tremendous growth of Southern Africa’s tourism facilities over the past few years has seen an increase in visibility for the region for business and leisure, alongside greater demand for regional travel options encompassing multiple countries.
The A’Sambeni exhibition gives local and international meetings, conference, exhibition and events organisers the opportunity to meet and network with Zimbabwe’s leading hotels, venues, and event suppliers.
Business tourism is a newly emergent generator of income, employment, and foreign investment.
The focal point of the A’Sambeni expo is to highlight this arena, with a view to capitalise and develop travel and tourism interest in Zimbabwe particularly, and in Africa as a whole.
Exhibitors: Convention & visitors bureaus, hotels & venues, event management companies & PCOs, meeting support companies, and specialist suppliers to the tourism industry.
A’Sambeni Africa is held in April, concurrently with the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair. This scheduling allows overseas and regional delegates to co-ordinate their trips to A’Sambeni and the South African exhibition, Indaba.
Opening Times: 9.00am – 5.00pm daily.
Suitable Visitors: Corporate travel and incentives decision makers, regional & international travel wholesalers and agents, as well as potential investors.
A’Sambeni exhibitors will not only showcase attractions in their own countries, but will provide information highlighting inter-country routing options for every kind of traveller- in Zimbabwe and beyond.
